Today we publish a report on mergers in the charitable sector.
The report suggests a number of possible mergers where NPC believes there may be a compelling case to consider such action.
These include charities in the areas of literacy help in schools (Volunteer Reading Help, CSV, Reading Matters, Literacy Volunteers), breast cancer research (Breakthrough Breast Cancer and Breast Cancer Campaign), mental health (SANE) and debt advice (Money Advice Trust and Consumer Credit Counselling Service).
We sent all of the charities the aspects of the text where they were mentioned at least one week prior to the print deadline for comment and correction.
We invite all of the charities mentioned in the report to give a further response on this blog, if they wish.
To leave a response click on the comment section of this post below.
(Responses will go through a moderator but we will endeavour to publish them in full.)
Best wishes,
John
